Ann Harter, professional singer and voice teacher draws from thirty years of vocal performance and over fifteen years of private voice study in all styles of singing, including jazz, musical theatre, classical and pop; and has an understanding of the vocal techniques that distinguish each style. Ann teaches children, adolescents, and adults to sing in an open, healthy way. She helps her students find their own voice and the joy of communicating through song. Her performance credits include works by principal classical composers, American jazz, Bossa Nova and world music. She sings in French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Czech. Ann has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Miami University of Ohio; with additional studies at the American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon; the University of Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico and the Escola Panamericana de Arte in São Paulo, Brazil.
