Brian Fanning, a music educator for over 12 years, has worked with children from kindergarten through high school. Brian is a certified First Steps in Music and Conversational Solfege educator and is passionate about offering children a quality music education, filled with meaningful movement and repertoire from around the world. He also teaches elementary general music and band at the Penn Brook School in Georgetown, MA. Prior teaching positions also include the Weare (NH) Middle School and the Freedom (NH) Elementary School. Brian is an oboist and currently performs with the Windham (NH) Community Concert Band and holds Bachelor of Music and Masters of Arts degrees from the University of New Hampshire. When he isn’t teaching or performing, he can be found in the mountains hiking, backcountry skiing, or rock climbing; on the road in his early 90’s Miata; or in the air in a 1972 Cessna Cardinal.
