Hsin-Ming grew up in Taipei, Taiwan and began learning piano from her mother at the age of 6. At age 8, she joined the Rong-Shing chorus and was an active member for 10 years, traveling to Japan, Europe and the US for numerous performances. Hsin-Ming started formal vocal training at 16 and later attended the National Taipei University of Education, majoring in voice with a minor in piano and conducting. Upon graduation, she began teaching music and conducting choir in public schools. After moving to the US, she taught private voice lessons and has been a soloist in several local choirs. Hsin-Ming lives in Newburyport with her husband and two children.
