Kerry grew up surrounded by music in her hometown of Georgetown. While she had always harbored a love for music from a young age, her passion for playing music began at the age of five after her dad, a drummer and music enthusiast, gifted her a keyboard for Christmas. Shortly thereafter, she began taking piano lessons from Berkeley College of Music alumna, Lynda Blinn, who later also taught her to play the guitar. In addition to private lessons, Kerry has always found ways to embrace music throughout her life, including participating in her schools’ choirs, helping her dad run events at his music hall in Georgetown, frequenting local concerts, and serving as the operations manager and DJ at her college’s radio station while she earned her degree at Merrimack College. As a member of the ZFDM family, Kerry hopes to share her love of music with others and help her students discover the joy of using music as an outlet for creativity and self-expression in a safe, positive environment.
